MS Dhoni- The untold story !

Dhoni!Dhoni!Dhoni! 

This wasn't just a movie. This was a learning. This was a Journey. This was all about friendship. This was about love,passion and courage. This was epic. This was all about MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI !!


Firstly, Anupam Kher sir was just fantastic. Neeraj Pandey's films are incomplete without Anupam Sir. His comic timing, his expressions, his care for his son's future, his commitment to his work, even though being a pump contractor, were phenomenal. Anupam sir's scene when Dhoni hits the winning runs makes us actually feel how proud would Paan Singh Dhoni (Dhoni's father) would have actually felt that moment. Bow down to you Anupam sir. Your acting just gets better with age.


Secondly, Dhoni's friends , coaches and his colleagues at his work at railways were a treat to watch. Each and every character were perfectly suited and the casting was just brilliant. Those late night drives to just drop their friend (Dhoni) to the airport, cheering him every time, giving him hope and always standing by him showed what true friendship is all about. A big big ovation to all the characters.

Coming to Dhoni's love life- It was very refreshing to watch the romantic side of Dhoni ! His first love played by Disha Patani who was very cheerful and always stood by Dhoni. Dhoni was in a catch-22 situation then whether to fall in love and get settled or just focus on playing cricket for India as he had just been selected into the Indian team. The songs were melodious and very romantic. Kaun Tujhse itna Pyaar Karega song is the best love song till now released this year.  The first love story had a sad ending but second one between Dhoni and Kiara Advani (Sakshi Dhoni) was refreshing. It had its own cute moments and clearly showed how Media just tries to destroy the image of a celebrity or anyone who just roams around with a celebrity. The chemistry between Dhoni and Sakshi was depicted beautifully. The only drawback was one song too many. 

There was Dhoni's mother who always prayed for him, his sister who supported him and the Indian Team selectors, players and actors who justified the role given to them. There was a U-19 match between Punjab and  Bihar and the actor who played Yuvi's role was brilliant. He was actually better than Dhoni in that one scene. 


Now comes DHONI !! You'll must have noticed that I havent mentioned Sushant Singh Rajput anywhere earlier. Thats because he just made you feel your watching DHONI ! He had perfected each and every thing Dhoni does let it be his style, hairdo, batting, wicketkeeping, expressions and everything. He had trained hard and his hardwork did pay off. He was the STAR of the moment. Sushant Singh Rajput, even if Dhoni finds flaws in your performance, we -the audience are totally in awe of you. The best scene was when the junior Dhoni watched his dad being so committed to his work, he then decided to do something for them. Those struggles of running from one platform to another, going for practise everyday after exams, not losing hope even after the politics and always having a smile showed that DHONI was writing his own script. Luck comes only if you work hard and never gave up even after struggling.  Brilliant will be an understatement. This was EPIC ! 




















Icing on the cake was reliving the World Cup Moments all over again, feeling the excitement with goosebumps and tears in your eyes.The entire Cinema Hall turned into a stadium, every dialogue was considered a four or a six, every helicopter shot was greeted with whistles whistles and only whistles. Seeti-Seeti aur Seeti bhajao was the demand in theatre. 


There will be flaws as no one is perfect. Editing had some issues. But come what may this movie is a must watch not just for DHONI but just to learn lessons of life and learn what friendship, sacrifice and struggle is all about . I can go on and on about this MASTERPIECE but would conclude with a small shayari:

ये ज़िन्दगी खुदा की देन हैं समय बीतता जायेगा , जीवन आगे बढ़ती जाएगी  हमे अनेक किरदार निभाने का मौका मिलेगा , अनेक कठिनाईओं का सामना करना पड़ेगा  पर ज़्यादा सोचना नहीं हैं, क्यूंकि  जीवन जीना बाकी हैं ,  सबको हंसाने  का सिलसिला जारी हैं.!!  ये ज़िन्दगी भगवान् का आशीर्वाद हैं  बुराई का सामना करना पड़ेगा , जीत हमेशा अच्छाई की ही होएगी  दूसरो से आपकी तुलना किया जायेगा , असफलता का सामना करना पड़ेगा  पर मुश्किलों से डरना नहीं हैं , क्यूंकि  जीवन जीना बाकी हैं ,  सबको  हँसाने का सिलसिला जारी हैं.!!  ये  जन्म   ईसा मसीह द्वारा एक उपहार  हैं  गुस्सा बहुत आएगा , गलतियाँ बहुत सी हो जायेगी  अपने आप पर चिडचिड़ाहट  बहुत आएगा , दूसरो के नफरत का सामना करना पड़ेगा  पर अपने ज़िन्दगी को कोसना नहीं हैं, क्यूंकि  जीवन जीना बाकी हैं , सबको  हँसाने का सिलसिला जारी हैं.!! ये एकलौता जीवन मोहब्बत की देन हैं प्यार होगा , नफतरत होगी, बचकानी हरकत की जाएगी किसी अपने से दूर होना पड़ेगा , किसी अनजान से अपना जीवन जीना पड़ेगा पर हर मोड़ में रुकना नहीं हैं क्यूंकि  जीवन जीना बाकी हैं ,
